As part of Tokyo Metropolitan University Corporation's efforts towards becoming carbon neutral and nature positive, we have released the carbon neutral promotion app "Carbon Link." "Carbon Link" is an app that aims to visualize individuals' eco-friendly efforts and give them a real sense of how they contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to the "Eco Action" feature, which records the greenhouse gas emissions that have been reduced through eco-friendly initiatives, the app also has other features that allow you to have fun while continuing to use it, such as a "Ranking" feature, a "Quiz" feature, and a "Reward" feature. We will continue to promote efforts toward becoming carbon neutral and nature positive.
Who is this app for?
Students (Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and National College of Technology), faculty and staff
Main features of the app (1) Eco-Action Record By recording the eco-friendly activities you do around you, you can visualize the amount of CO2 reduction you are making. The amount of CO2 reduction you are making will be accumulated, and a tree on the home screen will grow according to the amount of reduction. (2) Ranking feature By selecting the period and affiliation, you can view multiple rankings related to CO2 reductions. (3) Quiz function You can gain knowledge about environmental issues by taking quizzes related to carbon neutrality and nature positive. (4) Reward viewing function You can earn trophies and other rewards based on your daily eco-actions. (5) Action history viewing function You can check the amount of CO2 reduction achieved through eco actions over various time periods.
