Federated States of Micronesia Student Exchange Program

From Sunday, November 11th to Thursday, November 17st, 11, eight students and two accompanying teachers from the College of Micronesia-FSM (Federated States of Micronesia) visited Japan and participated in an exchange program at our organization.
The purpose of this project, which has been ongoing since fiscal 27, is to learn from the knowledge and technology of Japan and Tokyo, contribute to the development of human resources who will contribute to the development of the Federated States of Micronesia, and deepen friendly relations through exchanges with students.
During their stay, the participants attended classes and toured the campuses of Tokyo Metropolitan University and Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology, experienced Japanese culture, and deepened exchanges with students. They also visited various places in Tokyo, including the Mikawashima Water Reclamation Center in Tokyo's 23 wards, which gave them an opportunity to learn about the differences between Japan and the Federated States of Micronesia.

*This project is being implemented with the cooperation of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Embassy of the Federated States of Micronesia.
