Daisuke Arai, a graduate of Tokyo Metropolitan College of Aeronautical Technology, the predecessor school of the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology, will compete in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Arai will compete in the first round of singles on Friday, August 8th, and the first round of doubles on Saturday, August 30st (local time).
■About wheelchair tennis
Wheelchair tennis is played according to almost the same rules as other sports, except that up to two bounces are allowed when returning the ball. The court, net height, and equipment (racquets and balls) used are all the same.
