Corporate Planning Office Planning and Finance Division [Recruited in June 22]
■Introducing my current job
I currently belong to the Planning and Finance Section, Planning and Finance Division, Corporate Planning Office, and am primarily responsible for work related to corporate budgets. She is in charge of seven departments and oversees the entire corporate budget.
■What has been difficult so far?
When it comes to corporate budgets, numbers are the key to numbers 1 and 2. A small numerical error can have a big impact on the entire corporation. In addition, expenses related to education and research, administrative expenses, etc. are of a wide variety of types and uses, and are extremely large amounts of money. It took a lot of effort to put these things together.
■What made you happy?
I had a lot of trouble compiling the budget, but when I finished it, I felt very refreshed and happy.
■What do you usually keep in mind?
This is a sale from someone who has helped me in the past, but ``Working'' means making ``Hata'' (around oneself, ``Beside'' of ``Yasai nuisance'') ``Raku''. I approach my work with this in mind every day.
■What's the atmosphere like at work?
It's a bright, kind, sometimes strict, and lively workplace. I enjoy working every day.
■What made you want to apply?
When I was worried about job hunting when I was a student, the staff at the university I attended was very kind and helpful. Seeing this first-hand, I was drawn to the profession of ``university staff.'' However, contrary to my thoughts, I was unable to get a job as a university employee when I first graduated, and instead found a job at a private company. When I was thinking about changing jobs, I decided to give it another try and applied to this corporation.
■What is the difference between the image you had at the beginning and after joining the company?
The first job I was responsible for after joining the company was collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. At first, I wanted to provide student support and had a strong image of "supporting students," so I was confused by the work being in a completely different field, but it was a very rewarding job that connected Tokyo with universities and technical colleges. .
■What kind of work would you like to do in the future?
I find the work in the administration department, including budget-related work, very rewarding. I hope to continue to be involved in such work in the future.
■What are your future aspirations?
This is my fourth year at the company, and there are so many things I have to learn. Although we are still in our infancy, we will always keep in mind that the future of the corporation will be in the hands of our employees, and we will do our best in our daily work.
■A message to everyone aiming to become a corporate employee
Eight years have passed since the establishment of Tokyo Metropolitan University, a public university corporation. 8 years old in human terms. This is an age where children have the potential to absorb everything and grow greatly. It is the students, faculty, staff, and all of you who will bring out this potential. I would like to work with someone who is passionate about bringing out the hidden potential and allowing this corporation to take off.
