The Makino Herbarium currently has approximately 50 specimens in its collection, and is promoting research and educational activities that utilize the specimens, digitization of specimens, and information disclosure.
Specimens that express the characteristics and lifestyle of plants and are filled with the thoughts of their creators are ``sources of information on biodiversity'' with endless possibilities. In order to pass on plant specimens to future generations and further enhance the activities of the Makino Herbarium, we ask for your support for the Makino Herbarium Fund.
