Bequest donation
A bequest is an initiative in which a person donates some or all of their remaining assets after they pass away through a will or other document. It is a new way to contribute to society without having to worry about money in retirement. Anyone can donate even a small amount, even a few tens of thousands of yen, and choose the NPO, foundation, association, university, hometown, or other organization they want to support, such as education, the environment, healthcare, poverty, culture, animals, local communities, or disaster relief, and leave a portion of their remaining assets to the future with their wishes.
At our corporation,Japan Succession Donation Association (General Incorporated Association)We are working with the Foundation to promote bequest donations and are working to raise awareness of bequest donations. If you would like to make a bequest donation to one of the schools run by our foundation, or if you would like to be introduced to a legal firm in your area, please contact us.Japan Succession Donation Association Contact PagePlease feel free to contact us further.
<Information booklet on bequest donations "En Gift">
This free information booklet, published once a year by the Japan Legacy Donation Association, focuses on bequest donations. Its purpose is to lower the barrier to social contribution by using bequest donations as a gateway, and to help readers discover ways to contribute to society that they too can do. The booklet covers the characteristics of bequest donations, how to choose a donation recipient, and lists organizations, local governments, and universities with a strong track record in both accepting bequest donations and addressing social issues.
